• How to build a dynamic model of simple physical system in the form of transfer function.
• Able to determine the transient response of a systems.

"This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts in control system analysis and design. The numerous problems and examples have been drawn from the disciplines of electrical, electronics, chemical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering. This enable students of one discipline with the opportunity to see beyond their own field of study and thereby broaden their perceptual horizon. This will enable them to appreciate the applicability of control system theory to many facets of life like the biological, economic, and ecological control systems.
Topics include mathematical modelling of dynamics systems, time domain responses and performance, steady-state error analysis, frequency response analysis of systems and design methodologies in both the time domains."
