About This Course
This module will enable learners to develop, manage and execute various types of events, ensuring that all logistics requirements are carried out according to the event plans and meeting the objectives, agreed timelines and budgetary requirements. The module is conducted through a classroom training/facilitation component where a qualified trainer will cover the key concepts and industry examples. Learners will need to participate actively in a variety of learning activities such as class discussions, case studies and written exercises to achieve the knowledge and skills in Events Planning and Management.
What You'll Learn
The Events Planning and Management course is for learners with a background of work experience or who intend to work in the Tourism, Hospitality, Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) or other sectors where talents for event operations are needed. The course is designed to train and equip Event Operations Managers to develop, manage and execute events according to agreed timelines and budgetary requirements. Further, to ensure all logistics requirements are fulfilled according to the event plans. At the end of the course, learners should have acquired the knowledge and skills to be competent in managing the implementation of integrated plans for various types of events. That includes cohesive planning and the ability to work closely with other internal and external parties to fulfil all operational requirements of the events.
