About This Course
The Delegates and Participants Management course is to equip learners with relevant experience or career switchers with the knowledge and skills needed to professionally manage policies and procedures for the management, registration and engagement of participants, including participants’ travel management. The course is designed to train future Event Operations Managers foster their attributes to become resourceful in problem solving, flexible, and being meticulous as an event professional. At the end of the course, learners will gain fundamental knowledge and practical skills in developing procedures to manage participants travel and registration requirements.
What You'll Learn
The Delegates and Participants Management course follows the critical work function and associated key tasks for the role of Event Operations Manager. The course will enable learners to develop, manage and execute various types of indoor and outdoor events. In sequencing the learning units, a process approach will be used with the various abilities and knowledge in the TSC and scaffolded to indicate a logical flow from the learners’ perspective. Clustered in two main focus areas: Travel Arrangements and Registration. The course will cover a wide range of topics that are relevant in managing an event utilising a practical skill-oriented approach in managing delegates and participants, applicable to various types of events: indoor and outdoor.
