About This Course
1. Recognise common chronic health conditions affecting senior clients
2. Identify the importance to enhance senior clients’ needs in ADLs
3. Carry out proper preparation for ADLs in consideration of senior clients’ privacy and dignity
4. Assist senior clients with hygiene, toileting and feeding activities including proper waste disposal
5. Record ADLs and report abnormalities observed in senior clients’ conditions
6. Respond to senior clients with chronic or acute conditions with appropriate use of first aid and AEDs
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
1) 21 years old and above, and are currently working in healthcare related industry for 0-3 years.
2) Minimum GCE 'N' Level and/or able to read, write, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 5
3) Able to operate a personal desktop computer / laptop with Level 2 basic computing and applications skills
4) Be motivated to learn
