About This Course
As per course description
What You'll Learn
This module introduces theories and techniques of telling stories visually, with the goal of enabling students to create effective visual sequences of their own. Visual composition and storyboarding are covered extensively, and, through analysis, discussion, and practice, students develop the ability to create, select, and place images in sequence to maximize the dramatic effect of a work. Through observation, critique, analysis, and hands-on practice, students become fluent in the language, grammar, terminology, and techniques of visual storytelling. They also learn to recognise emotional and dramatic development in short stories and acquire the ability to translate this development into effective visual sequences.
