What You'll Learn
This module aims to train students in designing and creating interactive solutions which incorporate microcontrollers and electronics such as sensors and actuators, and emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and the Internet of Things (IoT). Students apply basic programming concepts and commands, produce ethical designs with future concepts and technology, and leverage electronic prototyping tools to develop functioning prototypes. Through engagement in authentic projects, students gain experience in designing, developing and testing ideas for the future with emerging technology.
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCE ‘O’ level with English language (grade 1-7), Mathematics (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) with 3 years relevant working experience
- NITEC/ NITEC in Technology/ Services (GPA 3.5 and above) with 2 years relevant working experience
- Higher NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Technology/ Services with 1 year relevant working experience
- Relevant WSQ Diploma + Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 with 3 years relevant working experience
