About This Course
Upon completion of the course, the learners will be able to
• Identify the common types, causes and indicators of workplace conflicts in the retail industry.
• Identify retail manager’s roles and the responsibility to minimise the negative impacts in managing and resolving staff conflicts.
• Coach team members to select the most appropriate conflict resolution approach as per organisational policies and legal practices in conflict management
• Discuss with team members strategies and techniques use in communicating and negotiating with team members to resolve workplace conflicts
• Analyse and review effectiveness of the conflict resolution strategies to select the best solution to prevent recurrence of conflicts
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
1) Age 21 years or above and have at least 2 years of work experience in supervisory or leadership position.
2) Able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 5 WPL (Comprehensive) and WPN. Similarly for Chinese at a proficiency level not lower than GCE ‘N’ or Hanban BCT (A) score not lower than 241 or BCT (B) score of not lower than 121.
