About This Course
Upon graduating from the course, graduates should be able to:
- apply basic scientific knowledge in nutrition and diet planning for animal wellness and rehabilitation
- apply common veterinary wellness techniques such as hydrotherapy and massage therapy for animal health maintenance
- apply knowledge in care for animals of different breeds and stages of growth and development as well as those that suffer from injury and ill health
- apply knowledge in animal behavior enrichment and socialization
assist veterinarians in therapeutic treatment involving herbal medicine, acupuncture or other forms of complementary veterinary care and support
- apply knowledge and skill sets in veterinary dental nursing, post-surgery care and first aid and emergency rescue care
- apply knowledge of animal welfare and develop an animal wellness plan

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement is at least a Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/Work-Learn Technical Diploma (or equivalent) in veterinary technology and science, veterinary bioscience, biomedical science and technology, nursing or occupational therapy.
