About This Course
Mandatory BIM e-submission has been introduced in phases since 2013, where architectural or engineering plans are required to be submitted in the BIM format for regulatory approval, in tandem with industry capability. With this mandated regulations, there has been an increase in manpower needs in BIM related built environment sector. As an emerging trade in the built environment, the course will help train resources in this particular area.

Entry Requirements
The minimum admission requirement is at least a Polytechnic Diploma, ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/Work-Learn Technical Diploma, or BCA Academy Diploma in built environment.
Holders of other equivalent academic qualification will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
