About This Course
This 1-day course aims to equip participants with theoretical, application and skills development aspects of real-time machine condition monitoring for predictive maintenance using neuromorphic AI-on-the-edge. The course starts with specific machine learning (ML) methods, targeted for real-time data analytics for prediction, followed by application using vibration performance data for real-world practical problems. The course includes hands-on practices for these ML algorithms to allow participants to acquire the core skillset needed to embark on designing and developing real-time machine condition monitoring solutions.

The growing importance of predictive machine maintenance in manufacturing cannot be understated, with any unplanned machine downtime in a competitive manufacturing environment will cause production delays that lead to unhappy customers, possible attrition of those customers to a competitor and a direct hit to a company's bottom line. Real-time condition monitoring, by vibration, temperature or other methods, enables any performance deviations to be pick up at once for maintenance before the problem becomes serious, resulting in equipment failure. This course covers fundamental concepts of Neuromorphic AI-on-the-edge technology and how it is being deployed for real-life industrial applications. It would reinforce its usefulness in providing real-time prediction, using vibration as baseline performance data, to give participants a comprehensive insight into how best to adapt this methodology for their specific needs.
