About This Course
This course adopts task-based (hands-on) approach learning that aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge of setting-up work in the CAM, deciding the appropriate cutting methods for given workpiece (programming), generating the NC (numerical control) program and to machining the workpiece.
What You'll Learn
SolidCAM is an integrated CAM software which runs directly inside SOLIDWORKS. This course covers major manufacturing applications from 2.5D Milling technologies to current trend on high efficiency machining (HEM) technology. In addition, there is practical session included to see live machining.
Entry Requirements
• Proficient in listening, speaking and reading English language
• Be able to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Proficient in basic CAD skills especially Solidworks
