What You'll Learn
characteristics, and needs and challenges of persons with disability. The dignity of persons with disability, types of supports and their application in relation to the needs are examined alongside aspects of safety. Participants will also reflect on their mindset and how this relates to their well-being with strategies of self-care when working with persons with disability.
Entry Requirements
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) level 6
• Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the ESWSQ WPL level 6
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Work-place Numeracy (WPN) level 6
