• Organisational guidelines for workplace safety and health (WSH)
• Types of transport devices and mobility aids
• Fall precaution measures
• Operating procedures of the transport devices and walking aids

What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
The following are the target groups for this course: -
a) Employees of elderly centres who may be tasked to provide dementia care services as an additional service;
b) New entrants who are keen to establish a career as a caregiver, volunteer etc;
c) Current caregivers who are looking to upgrade their skills and knowledge;
d) Candidates to experience and want to equip with the knowledge and skill to take care of family member living with senior / dementia.
Applicants should preferably:
a) Be at least 18 years old
b) Primary school education and above or be able to speak, listen and read English and read numbers at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Work-place Literacy and Numeracy Level (WPLN Level 3). Ordinarily, the learners should be able to comprehend diagrams and the recurring simple phrases in a participant’s guide.
