Computer Security Implementation (Classroom and Asynchronous)
About This Course
The learners will acquire the knowledge and understanding of principles of information security which consists of the technologies and methods used to defend systems and networks. They will learn to describe, evaluate and operate a defensive network architecture employing multiple layers of protection, using technology appropriate for secure mission accomplishment. They will examine various types of vulnerabilities, their underlying causes, their identifying characteristics, the ways in which they are exploited and potential mitigation strategies. This is very crucial to establish organisational guidelines and principles of security architecture and controls in organisation-wide security systems.
