At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
• Learn the origin and history of non-fungible tokens and their relevance today
• Understand the NFT infrastructure including how and where to create and mint NFTs, and platforms for trading them
• Develop knowledge of different types of NFTs (Collectibles, Generative, 1/1 Art)
• Learn factors that drive demand for NFTs
• Understand opportunities for NFTs in branding and culture
• Be aware of NFT related risks including nature of ownership, volatility, illiquidity, fraud, manipulation
What You'll Learn
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are ""one-of-a-kind"" assets in the digital world that can be bought and sold like any other piece of property, but which have no tangible form of their own. The digital tokens can be thought of as certificates of ownership for virtual or physical assets. However, once you understand how NFTs work, you'll see there are additional use cases for this technology.
Entry Requirements
Participants should preferably have basic understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain (as per Digital Assets and Blockchain Technology course offered by SMU Academy), but it's not a necessity.
