About This Course
At the end of the course learners are expected to be able to:
1. Maintain a conducive workplace
2. Prepare mushimono
3. Prepare donburi
4. Prepare nabemono
5. Prepare complex sushi
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners are assumed to:
a) be above 21 years of age;
b) Have working experience in either food services industry or non-food services industry;
c) Have developed Listening and Speaking of Basic English but weak on reading/ weak will be allowed to join the class. Trainer to use simple English to communicate. If learner is weaker in English, trainer deployed will be able to speak bilingual to assist student. Use a language and with learning aids (for e.g. Chinese or Malay) that the candidate is familiar to aid learner.
d) Potential learners who do not possess the assumed knowledge and skills set out above should not be precluded from training. It is recommended that they should be counselled and advised on suitable preparatory courses that they could undertake to improve their ability to benefit from the module.
