This course aims to address the performance gap in order to allow learners to
• Understand the concept of life cycle thinking and assessment for industrial sustainability
• Understand the four major phases of the ISO life cycle standard for assessment
• Equip with both methodology and hands-on experience to assess the environmental impact and effectively communicate the eco-performance
What You'll Learn
This module is about life cycle thinking and assessment for industrial sustainability. It motivates why thinking in life cycle is important followed by the introduction of four major phases of the ISO life cycle standard for assessment. At the end of the module, learners will equip with both methodology and hands-on experience to assess the environmental impact and effectively communicate the eco-performance.
This course would benefit engineers and sustainability managers who wish to advance their competency in strategies for carbon manage-ment and improvement potentials. The knowledge gained during this course benefits both the participants who stand to upgrade their individ-ual expertise and their companies with the opportunity to improve their competitiveness. By incorporating our innovative Learn-Practise-Implement training, which is essentially different from the only conventional classroom teaching, we deliver the course contents and meet the course objective in total 42 training hours as defined in this module.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirement includes a degree or diploma with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a production environment.
However, candidates with vast industry experience that do not meet the above entry re-quirement may still apply, subject to approval as exceptional cases.
