Environmental Control Officers (Specified Premises) (Synchronous e-learning)
About This Course
To train premise executive on the development and monitoring of the implementation of an Environmental Sanitation (ES) programme for specified premises. The primary aim of the Environmental Control Officers Specified Premises (ECO SP) scheme is for the premise manager to take a more pro-active role to ensure that the premise is kept free of environmental health problems.
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
1. A degree from local universities or any other institutes which is acceptable to the Director-General of Public Health; or
2. A diploma from local polytechnics or other institutes which is acceptable to the Director-General of Public Health, and with 2 years of relevant working experience*; or
3. WPLN L7 in reading, listening, speaking, writing and numeracy; or
4. WPLN L6 in reading, listening, speaking, writing and numeracy with 2 years of relevant working experience*.
*Environmental engineering, estate management e.g., facility management and environmental health i.e., cleaning services, pest control and waste management, are considered relevant to the work to be performed by an ECO(SP).
