About This Course
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
• Understand the workflows within Shiny, plumber, and pins.
• Open and maintain GitHub.
• Use R markdown to create a webpage.
• Produce an Application Programming Interface (API) that serves a Shiny app that displays the results of machine learning algorithms and models.
What You'll Learn
The results of predictive analytics and machine learning go beyond mere reporting and into “deployment.” The module guides participants to store and deploy models and algorithms, using an interactive dashboard, web application programming interface (API), and Github. They will be introduced to packages of Shiny, plumber, and pins, to equip them with cutting-edge productivity tools in the R data science ecosystem. Beyond the R Markdown documents, participants will be shown how to put their machine learning algorithms and predictive models into production (e.g., running an interactive dashboard that deploys the results of their models and algorithms on the web).
Entry Requirements
Participants with at least a diploma qualification and completed Certified Data Analytics (R) Specialist or equivalent
