What You'll Learn
This module provides an insight to a wide array of airside and ramp activities. In airside operations, students will be able to comprehend the different operational procedures, airside and runway safety standards, human factors, signs and markings, and wildlife management. In ramp services, students will learn about aircraft turnaround, underwing and overwing activities, ramp security, and the equipment used for these ramp activities. Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM) will be studied to understand the synergies and how these activities are closely intertwined.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should have a relevant (Engineering or Hospitality) diploma or degree. Applicants should preferably also have at least two years of relevant working experience.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least five years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test.
