What You'll Learn

This module provides an insight on how an aerodrome operator can ensure both high serviceability and efficient operations of all its airport facilities. In airport engineering, students will be able to explain the maintenance of airport infrastructure, operational standards for airport facilities and routine maintenance procedures of the organisation. In airport operations, students can relate to the duties of an Airport Operation Centre, the different emergency situations in the aviation industry, the notification processes for accidents, and the corresponding classifications and Standard Operating Procedures.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have a relevant (Engineering or Hospitality) diploma or degree. Applicants should preferably also have at least two years of relevant working experience.

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least five years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test.
