What You'll Learn
This module provides an insight to the heart of an airline, whereby pilots and flight dispatchers ensure safe and efficient aircraft performance during all phases of its flight. In aircraft operations, students will recognise the variables affecting optimal aircraft performance, interpret flight data, navigation charts and fuel management on board the aircraft. These concepts will not only enable high aircraft performance during cruise, it will also ensure safe take-off and landing in varying runway environments. In flight operations, students will be able to interpret Notices to Airmen, and study principles of air law, flight planning and navigation, fuel calculation procedures and flight planning systems. These concepts enable safe dispatch of aircraft and optimal execution of flight plans.
