About This Course
The course will support Singapore’s aim to be a green finance hub and an international carbon trading marketplace. Singapore Stock Exchange is proposing mandatory reporting in line with the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) by 2023. A carbon tax is in place for the nation’s high emitting businesses.
The course will enable participants to have a broad picture of climate change policies and economics as well as a particular understanding of how these global issues will translate into significant business decisions, with business insights.
It will equip company leaders to consider the move to net-zero future, the increasing demand from the finance sector for greener investment portfolios, as well as changing supply chains and customer preferences.
This course will also introduce participants to the policies, regulations, taxonomies and evolving standards that support corporate climate targets and scenario planning.
Participants will also understand the processes for change management and organisational strategy development.
