At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. send data from edge devices to gateways, and from gateways to cloud servers and back.
2. design publish-subscribe protocols centred around Multiqueue Telemetry Transport (MQTT), and design and build Representational State Transfer (RESTful) servers.
