About This Course

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. analyse, understand and design basic electronic circuits that will be used to support microcontroller applications for the Internet of Things (IoT).

What You'll Learn

In this course, learners will acquire basic electrical engineering knowledge required by Internet of Things (IoT) engineers. Topics covered include the relationship between voltage, current and power, Kirchhoff current and voltage laws, resistance, impedance, capacitance, and learning how to appropriately choose and size batteries for IoT applications.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computing or Mathematics, with programming knowledge. Other Bachelor's Degree holders with programming knowledge may be considered. Learners with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering should not take this course.
