About This Course

This 2-day course aims to equip participants with theoretical, application and skills development aspects of real-time EdgeAI system for a wide range of applications in advanced manufacturing, smart city, urban sustainability, etc. The course starts with basics of Deep Learning (DL) method, targeted for data analytics for prediction, followed by real-world applications using PlanetSpark EdgeAI platform. It covers the fundamentals of DL technology and explores some possible real-life applications using EdgeAI development framework.

Deep Learning (DL) AI has brought about tremendous impact in a wide range of industry sectors, be it for quality assurance and robotic automation in manufacturing, facial and suspicious objects detection & recognition in security & surveillance, autonomous robots / drones in healthcare & logistics, etc. With increasing processing power and better protection against cyber attacks offered by edgeAI systems, it will further accelerate the deployment of AI technology in new and existing applications and industry sectors. This course covers fundamental concepts of edgeAI technology and how it is being deployed for real-life industrial applications. It would reinforce its usefulness in providing real-time prediction, using structured data like facial image, to give participants a comprehensive insight into how best to adapt this methodology for their specific needs.
