About This Course

At the end of the course, the participants will be able to: - evaluate various energy storage systems for a grid application. - explain how to model and simulate the behaviour of energy storage system for both grid connected and islanded system. - explain how we can size the energy storage system optimal for a particular application. - explain how to simplify the process so that it can help develop simple evaluation models in practical applications.

What You'll Learn

The course will provide an overview of grid storage technologies and expand on to explain how to size and model grid storage applications. The application would look into both grid connected systems and islanded systems. It explains how to develop models of the energy storage systems and compute the life cycle cost of the system

Entry Requirements

- Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering (such as electrical and/or electronics engineering), or equivalent qualification; OR - relevant work experience in related industries.
