Topics covered include consumer motivation, perception, learning, micro and macro influences on consumers’ decisions, and applications relating to consumer psychology.
What You'll Learn
This module examines the consumer decision-making process and equips students with the fundamentals of consumer psychology ‒ how consumers think, feel and behave. Students will learn to apply the understanding of consumer psychology into marketing. Students will explore the social, cultural and marketing influences on consumers’ selection and use of products and services.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should possess a relevant local polytechnic diploma or degree in any discipline. For applicants who do not meet the MER, the polytechnics will consider discretionary entry based on the structured process for discretionary entry to CET diploma programmes.
