Decision & Cost Analysis
About This Course
This module introduces the basics of decision and cost analysis. Topics on decision making under risk and uncertainty and tools like decision trees, trade-off analysis and utility functions will be taught. It introduces various approaches towards the selection of equipment and materials for cost-effective operations as well as performing analyses of system costs over the life cycles of products and services.

Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ level with English language (grade 1-7), Science (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) - 1 years of relevant working experience
Higher NITEC (GPA 2.0 and above) or (GPA 1.5 and above and 1 years of relevant working experience)
NITEC (GPA 3.5 and above) or (GPA 3.0 and above and 1 year of relevant working experience)
Higher NITEC in Technology/Services (GPA 2.0 and above and 1 year of relevant working experience)
NITEC in Technology/Services (GPA 3.5 and above and 1 year of relevant working experience)
Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) AND at least 1 year relevant work experience AND Level 6 WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA and Workplace Numeracy SOA
For applicants who do not meet the MER, the polytechnics will consider discretionary entry based on the structured process for discretionary entry to CET diploma programmes.
