What You'll Learn

This course introduces participants to a variety of ESG reporting standards and how to prepare a quality report with meaningful disclosures. The lack of a harmonized reporting standards globally has resulted in a fragmented landscape of regional reporting frameworks and voluntary standards. Participants will examine Singapore Exchange (SGX) mandatory climate reporting as well as global ESG reporting standards from the International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and Sustainability Accounting Standards board (SASB). Efforts made towards a global standardization of ESG reporting and imminent ESG reporting developments in Singapore’s regulatory landscape will also be explored.

Entry Requirements

Participants are advised to have some pre-existing knowledge of sustainability. We recommend that participants attend the "Foundations of Sustainability - Opportunities and Risks" course prior to attending this course.
