About This Course
At the end of the training programme, the learners will be able to do the following leaning units:
LU1. Prepare for duty at financial institutions or other related businesses.
LU2. Report for duty at financial institutions or other related businesses.
LU3. Perform guarding and patrolling duties in financial institutions or other related businesses.
LU4. Handle of incidents at financial institutions whilst on duty.
LU5. Perform closing duties at financial institutions or other related businesses.
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
The assumed skills and knowledge for this unit are as follows:
• Have attended and passed the basic APO course or
• Related Basic APO Qualifying Tests and,
• Passed annual revolver classification shooting test and,
• Attended and passed unarmed tactics training and assessment,
• Attended and passed the T-baton/ Straight baton training and assessment
• Understand Singapore law and police procedures pertaining to police unarmed tactics
• Understand the Singapore legal system as it applies to protection, security, police procedures.
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 3
• Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 3
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employment Skills System (ESS) Level 3
• Academic Background: ‘N’ Level and above
• Physically and medically certified fitness of health
