About This Course

At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
• Draft, negotiate and formalise contracts with relevant information and key clauses for technology services
• Monitor activities and performance of technology vendors and/or service providers in accordance to agreement and standards
• Evaluate technology vendors and/or service providers against alternative providers for comparison
• Identify, communicate, resolve, and escalate any performance problems and/or contractual issues with technology vendors and service providers
• Document changes and updates to contracts and agreements
• Engage and maintain vendor and supplier relationships to align expectations and standards

What You'll Learn

Effective vendor management of technology solutions providers plays an important part in organisations. If done well, it helps to maximise operational efficiencies and financial performance while mitigating financial risks. In ensuring effective management of third-party service contracts and vendors such as cybersecurity or cloud services, organisations must ensure due diligence is done within expectations and standards. The scope of work should include on-the-ground inspection and independent assessment of vendor performance during the service engagement lifecycle - from sourcing, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring to vendor relationship off-boarding.
