To provide knowledge and skills on ultrasound scan of the upper abdomen using a systematic protocol
- How to present good qulaity images with diagnostic quality and communicate findings clearly and accurately
- Deepen understanding on the significance of lab and clinical tests, supplementary imaging modalities for hepatobiliary and kidney systems
- Focus on common indications, sonographic anatomy, scan techniques, normal and abnormal findings in abdominal ultrasound examination
- Acquire hands on ultrasound scanning skills of the abdomen with 'FAST' scan techniques in emergency settings and higher scanning techniques sessions to perform ultrasound examination proficiently

1. This course in abdominal ultrasound will benefit Allied health professionals, particularly the Diagnostic Radiographers and sonographers who work with sophisticated medical radiation equipment and a wide range of techniques to produce radiographic images of the body.
