DRG6103 Pelvic Sonography (Classroom, Synchronous & Asynchronous)
About This Course
1. Explain the normal and abnormal imaging characteristics of the liver, gallbladder and biliary system, kidneys, adrenals, spleen, pancreas and abdominal wall
2. Demonstrate independent and collaborative clinical decision making to perform pelvis ultrasound procedure, differentiate the sonographic appearance of normal structures from pathologic conditions, diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury
3. Acquire hands-on ultrasound scanning skills including Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST) examinations and perform ultrasound examination proficiently in their day-to-day clinical environment
4. Focus on common indications, sonographic anatomy, scan techniques, normal and abnormal findings in pelvic ultrasound examination (both male and female)
5. Acquire hands on ultrasound scanning skills of the pelvic region, including the groin/inguinal region
