About This Course

Recognise social-cultural factors of clients, peers and relevant social service stakeholders that influences the professional activities and clients’ response to interventions
Examine organisational diversity practices, philosophical underpinnings and applications in professional practice in relation to concerns regarding diversity, inclusion and equity
Identify concerns regarding diversity, inclusion and equity and apply principles and methds to address them.
Recognise complexities arising from cultural differences such as stigma, discrmination and social exclusion and determine diversity and inclusion needs for programme development and implementation

The aim of the course is to equip learners with an understanding about Cultural and social diversity in the helping process.

Entry Requirements

For the learners to be enrolled in this course, he/she will be screened for the following:
• Literacy and numeracy capabilities equivalent to level 5 and above as stated in the ES WSQ framework
• Diploma or degree qualification
• At least 2 years of working experience
