About This Course
Upon completion of the course, the learners will be able to
• Develop strategies to handle bulk cargo transfers in major import/export countries.
• Review freight market reports and indices to predict market trends.
• Develop detailed plans for entire bulk cargo process through vessel and surveyors.
What You'll Learn
The aim of the course is to equip the professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) who are currently working or those intending to make a career switch to the Logistics industry with in depth knowledge and skills to build an understanding to the significance of the bulk (freight) sectors and the key market centres, and to explore the operation of bulk cargo shipment - bulk terminal handling and the role of marine surveyors in a bulk cargo charter.
Entry Requirements
1) Age 21 years or above and have at least 2 years of work experience in supervisory or leadership position.
2) Able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 5 WPL (Comprehensive) and WPN.
