About This Course
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of circular economy and its application in environmental sustainability in areas such as waste management, product development and life cycle assessment. The module also provides current solutions, practices and case studies in sustainability to mitigate problems brought on by climate change including sustainable development in clean fuels and renewable energy as well as pollution mitigation.
What You'll Learn
This module aims to equip students with knowledge on environmental issues of climate change such as rising sea level and global warming due to anthropogenic drivers like depletion of natural resources, waste generation and greenhouse gas emission, UNSDG goals and targets as well as how governing bodies like COP and IPCC impact policy making through review and assessment of human-induced climate change.
Entry Requirements
A relevant local polytechnic diploma or degree from recognized institutions.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.
