About This Course

Participants will also go through case studies and best practices throughout to appreciate the different steps taken by global as well as local organizations as pathway to decarbonization.
What You'll Learn
Low-carbon transition brings tremendous business opportunities and risks. But it also gives rise to many questions that need to be answered. In this module, participants will familiarize themselves with the topic of decarbonization, including the regulatory landscape on carbon markets, carbon pricing mechanisms (e.g. carbon tax, cap-and-trade regimes, voluntary carbon markets), decarbonization roadmaps and green innovation. Participants will also have an opportunity to apply the knowledge to examine their own roles in the enablement of the green transition as well as safeguarding the integrity of the financial system by addressing issues such as greenwashing.
