Design literacy is the ability to understand and discuss the design process and what constitutes successful design. It is an understanding of how design is deployed across various mediums for a compelling end-user experience. To remain relevant in an increasingly image-saturated economy, design literacy is the new essential for professionals, managers, executives, and business owners to connect with their customers.
Jointly offered by SMU and Nayang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), this certificate programme provides participants with the knowledge and confidence required to identify design principles for visual strategies and to make informed decisions when collaborating with creative expertise and procuring creative assets.
