Champion Employee Wellness: Coach for Mental Well-being
About This Course
This programme will help the learners gain a perspective of identifying employees who are challenged mentally based on performances at work and the know-how in coaching and guiding the employees. At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
Understand common mental well-being problems
- Identify and explain the common signs and symptoms of burnout
- Identify an employee who is experiencing burnout symptoms
Connect and communicate with direct reports
- Help employee with causes of stress to identify their triggers
Support employees experiencing mental well-being issues
- Engaging employees to practice self-care strategies
Managing mental well-being issues in the workplace
- Sharing of key support resources in the organisation
- Advising and modelling self-care practices in the workplace
What You'll Learn
This programme is designed to help business professionals understand and learn the know-how of successful and effective coaching skill, supporting employees through their mental wellness challenges, eventually in-creasing the resiliency of the workforce for the organisation.
Entry Requirements
It is assumed that the participants should minimally possess the following profile:
• Possess a minimum of O-Levels or equivalent level of education; or
• Be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5; and
• Have more than 1 year of work experience; and
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
