What You'll Learn
As law firms start to adopt more technology in the practice of law, many lawyers question their place in the legal landscape of the future. However, one thing that a computer is unable to replace nor replicate is the ability to connect with another human being. The practice of law, at its core, is the provision of a service. There is a special relationship between a lawyer and their client. It is important for lawyers to continue to hone their skills in building rapport and trust with their clients whilst also learning how to read verbal and non-verbal cues. This module will help participants determine their client's dominant mode of processing information. Participants will also learn to strategically create rapport through matching and mirroring the person they are talking to - valuable skills that will give them a distinct advantage throughout their career.
