About This Course
The course aims to provide adult learners with:
1.Knowledge and skills in precision engineering and aerospace manufacturing required to undertake and add value to diploma-level jobs.
2.Latest knowledge and skills relevant to support the existing and future needs of precision engineering and aerospace manufacturing industry. Curriculum of the diploma is designed to equip students with a strong practical based foundation in application of engineering, materials, quality system and fixture design suitable for the aerospace manufacturing industry.
3.Flexibility to allow adult learners to acquire a diploma qualification in a self-paced manner by modularizing the diploma course structure.

Entry Requirements
• Min 3 relevant GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• NITEC GPA ≥ 3.5 OR NITEC GPA ≥ 3.0 with at least 1 years of relevant working experience.
• Higher NITEC GPA ≥ 2.0 or Higher NITEC GPA ≥ 1.5 with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Nitec in Technology with GPA ≥ 3.5 and with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Higher Nitec in Technology with GPA ≥ 2.0 with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) qualifications with at least 1 year of relevant working experience and Level 6 for both WSQ Workplace Literacy and Workplace Numeracy.
• For applicants with at least 2 years of relevant experience, the polytechnic may at its discretion consider such candidates for written and/or oral assessments. The polytechnic reserves the right to accept candidates based on their performance at this assessment.
