About This Course

Upon completion of this program, attendees will be able to define different types of
requisitions, define different types of purchase orders, explain freight terms and titles to goods, explain
payment terms and conditions, state the legalities and ethics of purchasing, explain product liability and
warranty, product standardization and group purchasing. This program includes case studies and role
playing, that will illustrate ways in which the purchasing professional meet the department’s goal of
addressing the needs of its customers for supplies, services, and equipment while obtaining good value for
money spent.
