Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Evaluate the energy efficiency strategies, sustainable building design, green materials, renewable energy systems, indoor environmental quality, and building automation systems.
• Apply principles and methods to analyze, design, and operate energy-efficient and sustainable buildings.
• Utilize tools to assess the environmental impact and life cycle analysis of building materials and products.
• Conduct building energy/sustainability audit and identify opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Learn

By the end of the 5-day course, participants should have a comprehensive understanding of net-zero building principles, design and construction strategies, building automation and energy management systems, indoor environmental quality control, sustainable water management and materials use, advanced energy-efficient technologies, and performance metrics, audit, and analysis. They should be equipped with the knowledge and skills to evaluate building performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies that maximize building sustainability and occupant comfort and health in a net-zero energy and carbon context.
