About This Course

The electrical power industry in Singapore has been relying on importing technologies and products from overseas OEMs. Coupled with regulatory knowledge and best practices, this 3-day course aimed to widen the skillset of the local electrical engineers beyond traditional installation and testing of electrical products to the other essential areas such as design, selection, erection and safety.

• To provide an updates of the changes and new requirements in the Code of Practice from CP5 to the new SS 638;
• To give an accurate and in-depth understanding of the requirements and provisions of SS 638;
• To demonstrate how the Regulations are applied in practice through design examples;
• To illustrate how to design electrical installations which are safe, reliable, maintainable and energy efficient;
