Computer Aided 3D Design - Part of Modular Certificate in Engineering Drafting & Design (Elective) (DEMH)
About This Course
On completion of this module, learners should be able to:
1) Create 3D solid models of simple products in Creo Parametric
2) Produce an assembly drawing (2D) from a given 3D assembled product of its components
3) State the fundamentals of parametric feature-based solid modeling and engineering drawing
4) Produce orthographic views of an object modeled on Creo Parametric
5) Apply the correct methods of sectioning to produce various sectional views
6) Interpret and produce dimensions, notes, abbreviations and symbols frequently found in engineering drawings
What You'll Learn
The modeling process of common products will be taught in Creo Parametric 3D solid modeling environment.
