About This Course
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Identify appropriate business scenarios requiring systems that extends human expertise and/or cognition.
- Gain a practical understanding of the concepts and techniques that enable systems to mimic human reasoning, and/or interact with human naturally.
- Create suitable design using common architectures of such applications after analysis of business requirements.
- Develop/integrate and evaluate such systems using existing libraries.
What You'll Learn
Cognitive systems augment and accelerate human capabilities by mimicking how humans learn, think and adapt. Such systems often need to maintain a knowledge base and be able to reason out the solution meanwhile to response to the input from outside world. This course is designed for Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineers, intelligent system developers, project managers, and solution architects who would like to analyze, design and build systems that interact naturally with humans and extend and magnify human expertise and cognition. Attendees will learn common architectures and essential techniques underlying such systems, and be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to effectively applying them to appropriate business scenarios.
Entry Requirements
Participants must have strong programming skills using Python. Participants should have taken the course Machine Reasoning to benefit more from the course.
