About This Course
In Design Leadership, we will cover the stages of Design Centric maturity and outline a strategic plan to reach an attainable corporate goal. Participants will then take a deep dive in assessing their leadership strengths, weaknesses, and other personal qualities. Learning effective ways to having empathetic observations, confidence to acknowledge their actions and openness to adapt with change while leading their team.
This course aims to enable leaders to enhance their teams soft and hard skills, and be mindful of intrinsic motivators. Participants will be equipped with techniques for choosing the right ways/methods to communicate, building the right team, and understanding how to inspire and motivate your team effectively
What You'll Learn
The first part of the course will discuss the application of design as a strategic asset for your organization, discussing how to build a design centric organization. In order for your company to move toward design centric maturity, effective team leadership is an imperative skill for managers to possess.
The second part of the course will guide you through the process of collaboration, and how to lead creative teams through design thinking and innovation. Participants will learn how to motivate design teams effectively, while understanding what motivates them to be the best versions of themselves and deliver great work.
