About This Course

The aim of this course is to teach students the principles, design and applications of the medical instruments most commonly used in the healthcare industry. Quantitative methods of analysis are developed including simplifying assumptions to make the students understand and design an instrumentation system for diagnostic and therapeutic medical applications. Integration of systems through Internet of Things (IoT) and the concept of networking will be introduced.

a. For non-WSP format - Relevant local polytechnic diploma or degree in engineering and sciences from recognized institutions.
b. For WSP format – relevant local polytechnic diploma
