What You'll Learn
Designing and Engineering for Sale Operations is a 2-day workshop specially developed to help process engineers, operators, safety personnel and management ensure safer working conditions at major hazard installations, with an emphasis on runway reactions and dust handling.
In this practical workshop, you will be introduced to techniques for analysing and mitigating process safety hazards. Throughout the course, frequent reference will be made to historical process incidents that serve to illustrate what happens when process safety principles are not fully understood or complied with. By end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Recognise the types of equipment and process systems that have historically been problematic in major hazard installations
- Understand detection and mitigation methods for different types of hazards
- Think in terms of inherently safer design
